Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round of all fights. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen in the fight, beating her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's records as a professional were damaged. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by first-round TKO. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used her superior grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her fight via third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at weight of catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd did not have enough weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She finished her via TKO in the second-round. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last fight for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round in the 2nd. She maintained her dominance as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the first round. The winner also got the bonus for performance of evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first fight she's had in a major capacity. Both fighters put up a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters receiving their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
