Arike Ogunbowale

Arike ogunbowale (born on April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She plays for Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She played college basketball with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings with the fifth overall selection in the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale's father and mother Yolanda Ogunbowale & Gregory Ogunbowale were born March 2nd 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Mario Ogunbowale, who is 26 years old, is her brother and Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years of age. Being the youngest of them family member, her parents provided her with the most exemplary treatment. Ogunbowale has led her team to numerous wins thanks to her exceptional abilities. With 73 high school starts throughout her playing career, she is averaging 1,477 point and 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale played in the 2013 the FIBA Americas U16 Championships 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships 2013 3x3 Championships of FIBA for U18 which she took home Gold Medals. In July 2014, she was selected to be a member of the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale is also part of the ACC All-Freshman Team, after her debut season at a college. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for her important shots at the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale's basketball career is off to a good start, and she will continue on the same path.
